Second Chance Tails, Inc.They can’t speak for themselves. But you can.
Second Chance Tails, Inc. supports shelter animals by providing enrichment, essential supplies, and thoughtful resources that improve daily life during shelter stays. We focus especially on long stay residents and animals with limited time, helping bring relief, security, and positive experiences to animals who need them most.
More comfort today. Brighter days ahead.
Life in a shelter can be uncertain, unfamiliar, and stressful. Second Chance Tails exists to bring greater stability, reassurance, and quality of life to that experience.
We believe the time an animal spends waiting still matters. Soft bedding, enrichment, treats, and other thoughtful essentials can ease stress, encourage natural behavior, and bring moments of security and enjoyment to an unfamiliar environment.

Practical support for the animals in your care.
Second Chance Tails works with shelters and rescue organizations to help address practical needs that can be difficult to prioritize in busy animal care environments.
We listen first. Each organization has different needs, priorities, populations, and available resources, so our goal is to understand what would be most useful rather than assume every shelter needs the same things.
Support may include bedding, blankets, toys, treats, warm clothing, or other practical items identified by the organization. We welcome the opportunity to learn about your animals, your current priorities, and where our support may be most useful.
